Context

EUDR is the first wave

Under the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), companies placing timber, coffee and other listed commodities on the EU market must hold geolocation data for every plot of land their goods come from, checked against an official specification. A due diligence statement reference is required before the customs declaration.

The regulation is written in Brussels, but the data is produced on farms and at mills at origin. It arrives as overlapping polygons, duplicated plots, wrong formats and records written only in Portuguese. Broken files do not fail loudly; they fail when the statement has to be filed.

EUDR is not an isolated case. CBAM and the digital product passport follow the same pattern: market access decided on the quality of supplier data. That data layer is our specialty.

Portuguese-language follow-up with suppliers is part of the service, and it is usually the step that costs implementation teams the most time.

Both services are data preparation, not compliance certification. The operator remains responsible for its own due diligence statement. Prumovia does not provide satellite deforestation verdicts or legal advice, and works with existing platforms rather than against them.

Who leads the work

Pedro Drummond
Pedro Drummond Founding partner Spain · PT / EN / ES

Prumovia was founded by Pedro Drummond, an enterprise data architect with more than twenty years of experience in digital identification and identity resolution with Big Data. His work has been applied in high-criticality Brazilian government environments, including the Federal Police, ABIN (the national intelligence agency), the Central Bank and the Attorney General's Office.

That background covers governance, data quality, deduplication, matching and auditing under strict security and privacy constraints, alongside supply-chain data work for Johnson & Johnson / Kenvue.

Alexandre Bolzan Gutierrez Martins
Alexandre Bolzan Partner Brazil · PT / EN

Alexandre Bolzan Gutierrez Martins is a mechanical engineer from the University of Brasilia with an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas and more than fifteen years of engineering and project management practice.

He serves as a forensic engineer for the Federal District Court of Justice, where technical investigations have to hold up as evidence: product and service liability, accident analysis, contract performance and utility metering. Before that he ran an engineering consultancy of forty people serving Petrobras, COMGAS and the Brazil-Bolivia gas pipeline, and he has spent eight years as an engineer at the Federal Senate.

He brings the discipline the regulatory side demands: specifications, contracts and technical evidence built to survive audit.

Delivery is led personally by the partners.

Paperwork
We put an NDA and data processing agreement in place before any files are shared.
Transfer
Files move through the transfer method your organisation approves.
Use
We use the files only for the work agreed in the scope.
Deletion
We delete all files 30 days after handover, or earlier if you request it.
Submission
We upload nothing to any platform or authority without your written approval.
